PURPOSE: A structure of a valve room using composite structural materials is provided to shorten the period of construction and to heighten workability, damp-proofing efficiency and corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: The structure of a valve room comprises: a main body of a valve room provided with vertical reinforcing supports(37) erected along walls to reinforce vertical walls(36); a base plate(33) provided with reinforcing supports(38) to support the main body and to compensate the deflection of load; an upper plate(34) placed on the main body and provided with many reinforcing supports to protect from bending stress, shear stress and deflection against wheel load; and an upper plate joint formed on the main body to couple the upper plate to the upper plate of the main body.
