42 VEHICLE HAVING INTEGRATE GENERATOR AND STARTER MOTOR SYSTEM DRIVEN BY 42V BELT

PURPOSE: A vehicle adopting a 42V-belt drive integrated generator and a starter motor system is provided to improve fuel efficiency and convenience, to correspond to exhaust gas regulation by reducing exhaust gas, and to secure power line internal pressure design basic technology for a 42V power system. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle adopting a 42V-belt drive integrated generator and a starter motor system is composed of an engine(21); a starter(22) installed to the engine to start the engine; an IGS(Integrated Generator Starter,23) installed to the side of the engine and integrated with a 14V starter motor for performing an initial starting by operating the starter and a generator for executing the power generation of the engine; a belt-pulley device(24) for transmitting driving force to connect and drive the engine and the IGS; a battery(25) for 42V connected with the IGS to supply power to the IGS; a 42V controller(26) coupled with the battery for 42V and the IGS to control operations of the battery and the IGS; a 12V battery(27) for supplying power to the starter; and a DC/DC(Direct Current) converter(28) coupled to the 42V controller and the 12V battery to be convertible into 42V and 14V.
