Breakwater capconcrete structure for overflow waves interception

PURPOSE: Breakwater cap concrete structure for blocking overtopping waves is provided to minimize the overtopping of waves when such high waves as a typhoon strike, at the minimum construction cost. CONSTITUTION: In building a breakwater(1) of an area having relatively low wave height, a wave-dissipating structure(10) is connected simultaneously with a cap concrete form(2) in placing the cap concrete form. The wave-dissipating structure has a rear wall(11) and a semicircular wall body(12) vertically disposed to the front of the rear wall. The semicircular wall body is connected with the right and left points of the rear wall. Vertical projected rods(13) are installed to the front of the semicircular wall body at regular intervals. Water-passing holes(14) are bored in the whole surface of the semicircular wall body except for the vertical projected rods. Two fixed support rods(15) are oriented on the rear of the rear wall. The front-end portion of the fixed support rods forms fixing projections(16) with thickness thicker than the thickness of the fixed support rod.
