System for diagnosing and displaying trouble of automobile turn signal system using IPS and LonWorks

PURPOSE: A failure display device of a turn signal system for a vehicle by applying an IPS(Intelligent Power Switch) and a LonWorks system is provided to recognize cause of failure easily and improve maintenance by inputting information from an MCU(Micro-control unit) to a controller and displaying the disabled state. CONSTITUTION: An MCU(10) receives states of turn signal lamps(1,3,5,7) from an IPS chip(20), and a failure diagnosis controller(32) decides wrong operation of the lamp and wiring short related to the lamp and outputs the control signal by receiving information on states of lamps from the MCU. A failure display unit(34) displays the failure of the turn signal lamps according to the control signal from the failure diagnosis controller. The failure display unit displays the state of each lamp with blinking light emitting diodes(36,37,38,39) corresponding to failed lamps according to the control signal from the failure diagnosis controller.
