PURPOSE: A portable body fat measurement device is provided to achieve improved efficiency of body fat analysis and use convenience. CONSTITUTION: A portable body fat measurement device comprises first and second expansion channels arranged at both sides of a measurement terminal; first and second low frequency pads(33,34) for switching the measurement terminal into a body fat measurement mode and a low frequency treatment mode; first and second connection sensing units(35,36) for sensing the connection of first and second plug jacks to the first and second expansion panels; a mode selection key(37) for switching the measurement terminal into the body fat measurement mode or low frequency treatment mode; a measurement control unit(38) for controlling each unit of the system in the body fat measurement mode and low frequency treatment mode in accordance with the signals output from the first and second connection sensing units and the mode selection key; a power control switching unit(39) for controlling power supply to a first electrode(E1), first and second low frequency pads and first and second low frequencies(40,41); the first and second low frequencies for outputting low frequencies of predetermined levels to the first and second low frequency pads if the measurement terminal is in the low frequency treatment mode; a measurement signal selection unit(42) for selecting the electrical signal flow of the body fat measured from the body of the user through the first and second low frequency pads or a second electrode(E2); a filter unit(43) for filtering the electrical signal selected by the measurement signal selection unit; an amplifier unit(44) for amplifying the electrical signal filtered by the filter unit; a gain control unit(45) for feeding back a gain control value to the filter unit; and an A/D converter unit(46) for converting body fat measurement data into a digital signal to be displayed on an LCD.
