PURPOSE: A DVR having a function of black box for vehicles is provided to store information about circumstances before and after a car accident. CONSTITUTION: A DVR(100) having a function of black box photographs or records circumstances when a CCD camera, a CMOS camera, an audio sensor, a shock sensor and a speed sensor set in a car(200) are used or a brake is applied suddenly. The photographed or recorded data is converted to digital data and stored in a hard disc drive, a CD, a flash memory or other storage medium. An alarm is generated using the recorded data. The recorded data is visually or audibly reproduced to analyze surrounding circumstances of a car accident.
