PURPOSE: A method of preparing microfiber textured yarn by conjugate spinning, weaving and texturing of two thermoplastic polymers different in the shrinkage rate and then concurrently feeding the microfiber textured yarn and thermoplastic fiber is provided. It simplifies the production process and reduces production cost. The product has excellent dimensional stability and elastic characteristics, thereby providing wearing comfort to the wearer. CONSTITUTION: The microfiber textured yarn having elastic characteristics is prepared by the steps: conjugate spinning, weaving and texturing of two thermoplastic polymers different in the shrinkage rate; and concurrently feeding the microfiber textured yarn and thermoplastic fiber into a compression air jet system. The two materials are made into a novel yarn with an elastic function using the process, which is simple as compared to other traditional processes associated with the production of elastic conjugate yarn.
