Method for recovery of fine stainless steel fiber from stainless grinding swarf

PURPOSE: A method for collecting fibrous stainless powder from stainless grinding swarf is provided to recover and collect stainless powders of fine fiber contained in the swarf that are mixtures of ground metal components with lubricant oil. CONSTITUTION: Grinding swarf are composed of mixtures of fibrous stainless and lubricant oil generated at a grinding process of cold rolled stainless sheet materials. The grinding swarf are heated in a vacuum container in a depressed state to separate the fibrous stainless components from the oil components. It serves to recycle the oil and fibrous stainless powder as lubricants and metal materials without contamination from the grinding swarf.
