PURPOSE: A method and a device for offering a singing room service using the Internet are provided to select a song by a song title and a singer, to carry out various kinds of ceremonies and events with an acquaintance in a remote place through a web server, and to offer various services such as a CD containing the song and an image of the user. CONSTITUTION: A database(DB) manages the songs and background images. The web server(WS) controls information and data of the database. A local server(LS) makes each singing room shop connect to the web server and controlled by the web server. A set-top box(SB) manages the song selection, video, and a charge of each singing room. An accompaniment device(O) plays the audio/video by control of the set-top box. A web user computer(C) is connected to the web server.
