PURPOSE: A system and a method are provided to allow for a wide variety of security services and ease of acquisition of billing data. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises a security gateway(107) for providing an integrated service for security, and services for security through the dedicated line in accordance with the request of the subscriber of the Internet security management service; a central control unit(100) for monitoring the state of the security gateway through the dedicated line, and propagating the abnormal signal upon detection of abnormal signal of the security gateway; and a security service providing unit(118) connected to the central control unit through a service network, and which transmits a software update information during the transmission of the abnormal signal.
