PURPOSE: A fishing reel is provided to install the power transferring equipment which removes the backlash in the line of gear, having the simple construction. CONSTITUTION: The fishing reel includes: a power transferring equipment(7) which transfers the driving force so that a rotor(2), supported on a reel body(1), is driven by a rotation operation of a handle(6), rotatably supported by the reel body(1). A rotation power transferring unit(30), using a friction of an elastic member(31), is arranged in the driving force transferring line of the power transferring equipment(7). A rotation power transferring unit, using a gear, is also arranged in parallel to the rotation power transferring unit(30), using a friction of the elastic member(31), in the driving force transferring line of the power transferring equipment(7).
