PURPOSE: Provided is a primer composition which has an excellent balance between storage stability and adhesion and a long open time and whose adhesion to a substrate is maintained for a long time even under the condition of a high temperature and a high humidity after coating. CONSTITUTION: The primer composition comprises a compound represented by the formula 1; and an organic solvent, wherein m is an integer of 1-3; n is an integer of 1-4; q is an integer of 1-3; R1 is an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group capable of containing at least one hetero atom selected from O, N and S; R2 is a monovalent aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group capable of containing at least one hetero atom selected from O, N and S; R3 is a residue obtained by removing all isocyanate groups from an isocyanate compound; and X is O, S or -NR(R4)- (wherein R4 is H, a C1-C18 alkyl group or a C6-C18 aryl group). Also the primer composition comprises a compound represented by the formula 2; an organic solvent; and a polyisocyanate compound, wherein s is an integer of 0-3; p is an integer of 0-4; r is an integer of 1-4 and s+4=2; R1, R2 and X are the same above; and R5 is a residue obtained by removing all isocyanate groups from an isocyanate compound. Preferably the polyisocyanate compound is represented by the formula 3.
