摘要

PURPOSE: An acryl-based thermosetting powdered paint composition is provided, to obtain sufficient homogeneity by general compounding process using melting mixing and to improve the compatibility with a polyester-based thermosetting powdered paint without the deterioration of smoothing, high gloss, hardness, abrasion resistance, acid resistance and solvent resistance. CONSTITUTION: The acryl-based thermosetting powdered paint composition comprises a glycidyl group-containing acryl resin (A) which contains at least one glycidyl copolymer (a) obtained by the copolymerization of glycidyl methacrylate and/or -methyl glycidyl methacrylate and other ethylenically unsaturated monomer modified with a carboxyl compound (C), and can contain the unmodified glycidyl copolymer; and a polyvalent carboxyl compound (B) as a curing agent. The carboxyl compound (C) is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid, an oxy acid and a polyvalent carboxyl compound. All the glycidyl copolymer (a) consisting of the glycidyl group-containing acryl resin (A) is previously modified with a modification rate of 0.1-10 mol% based on the total mole of glycidyl methacrylate and/or -methyl glycidyl methacrylate before modified.
