PURPOSE: A method and kit for diagnosis of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli infection are provided, thereby easily and rapidly diagnosing the enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli infection by an ordinary person without additional reagents or apparatuses . CONSTITUTION: A kit for diagnosis of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli infection comprises an antibody specifically binding to an enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli antigen; and color particles for visual detection. It has lateral flow strip type, wherein the lateral flow strip comprises a backing, a chromatographic medium(4) fixed on the backing and containing a capturing line(6) consisting of a captor which is the same as or different from the antibody binding to a conjugate discharged from a conjugate discharging pad(2), the conjugate discharging pad(2) connected to the end of the chromatographic medium(4) and containing an antibody labeled with the color particles; a sample pad(1) attached to the chromatographic medium(4) and through which liquid sample is introduced; and an absorption pad(3) absorbing the sample developed by the chromatography and absorbing and removing labeled unreacted materials.
