PURPOSE: A throttle device is provided to improve work efficiency in assembling work of a throttle body and a cover and to surely prevent removal of the cover from the throttle body. CONSTITUTION: A throttle device comprises a throttle body(1); a cover(18) suitable to be mounted to the throttle body; coupling devices(13,15) including first combining parts arranged to one of the throttle body and the cover, and second combining parts arranged to the other of the throttle body and the cover; and units for preventing access to the first or second combining parts separating the first and second combining parts. The first and second combining parts are combined to each other when the throttle body and the cover move in a first direction toward each other, and movement of the throttle and the cover in a second direction opposite to the first direction is prevented.
