A/V switching method for high quality MPEG kiosk

PURPOSE: A method for switching an image of a high quality moving image kiosk is provided to facilitate remote control by using the PC communication, realize the precise program timing control, and softly realize software due to fade-in/out. CONSTITUTION: A TV card of a PC inputs a monitor signal, a screen output signal, a DVD(Digital Versatile Disc) monitor output signal, a VCR(Video Cassette Recorder) monitor signal, and other monitor output signal. The desired output signal is selected from the inputted monitor output signals by receiving the output signal through an I2C(Inter-Integrated Circuit) bus. The software or a desired function is controlled on the desired timing. A DC output circuit receives data from the PC through the 12C bus and outputs DC output. The output DC controls AC gain of a video signal inputted from a DC output volume circuit. A fade-in effect is realized by gradually reducing the AC gain. The monitor output signal selected from various monitor output signals is output.
