Method and apparatus for compressing and disposing HEPA filter using at nuclear facilities

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for compressing a HEPA(High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter are provided to manage efficiently waste matters by compressing and processing the HEPA filter within a waste drum. CONSTITUTION: A HEPA filter is located between a movable molding frame and a fixing molding frame. The HEPA filter is interlocked between the movable molding frame and the fixing molding frame by shifting a movable molding frame(S1). The cylindrical HEPA filter is formed by operating the movable molding frame to mold the HEPA filter(S2). The HEPA filter is pushed and inserted into a waste drum by shifting a compressing plate to a lower side(S3). The HEPA filter is compressed in the inside of the waste drum(S4). A plurality of HEPA filters are compressed in the inside of the waste drum by performing the compressing process, repeatedly and a top part of the waste drum is sealed up(S5).
