APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING DATA CONTACT BETWEEN CONTACTLESS IC CARD READER AND CONTACTLESS IC CARDS

PURPOSE: A device and a method for preventing a data collision between a non-contact typed IC card reader and cards are provided to make the card reader use power efficiently and receive power stably, and to make the card reader communicate with all approached cards in a short time by performing no collision prevention procedure anymore after confirming the same number of card IDs as the number of detected cards. CONSTITUTION: A sensor circuit(111) detects a detection signal and the number of the approached IC cards(200). A power control circuit(113) passes the detection signal and the number, and controls a power switch generating the RF(Radio Frequency) power. A power supply(115) generates the power of the RF and supplies electromagnetic wave including a request signal passed the power control circuit. A matching circuit(117) controls electromagnetic wave matching in order to generate the electromagnetic wave supplied from the power part through an antenna(S1), and supplies the power of the generated RF. An internal circuit(120) supplies the electromagnetic wave including the request signal, and performs the collision preventing procedure if the data collision occurrs while a response for the request signal exists.
