SOLID TYPE SOIL IMPROVER USING BIODEGRADABLE RESIN AND FOOD ADDITIVES AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A pelletized fertilizer for soil improvement using biodegradable resin(PVA) and food additives is provided to multiply soil microbes, decompose soil pollutants and increase fertility in the soil. CONSTITUTION: The fertilizer consists of 10.7wt.% of food additives, 15.0wt.% of botanical powder, 74.3wt.% of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA), and fertilizer mixed N, P and K in a ratio of 5:5:5, wherein the amounts of fertilizer depends on the amounts of PVA. The food additives comprise 0.8wt.% of carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt(CMC) as a stabilizer, 0.5wt.% of carrageenan as a solidifier, 8.0wt.% of polypropylene glycol as a forming agent, 0.4wt.% of D-mannitol, 0.6wt.% of sodium alginate and 0.4wt.% of sodium solginate. The manufacturing method of fertilizer comprises the steps of: mixing raw materials; preparing pelletizing materials in a biaxial mixer(10) consisting of an inlet(11), a combining part(12), an extruding part(13), a discharging part(14) and an outlet(15); injection molding to form mixed materials into pellets with a shape of bead, board, rod, net, etc.; cooling and packing. The injection machine consists of an inlet(165deg.C), a weighing part(175deg.C), a dissolving part(180deg.C), a forming part(185deg.C), a pouring part(175deg.C) and a mold(18deg.C).
