DISK DEVICE, PARTICULARLY IN RELATION TO REFORMING STRUCTURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOW PROFILE WHILE IMPROVING RELIABILITY AND MANEUVERABILITY

PURPOSE: A disk device is provided to generate a static pressure in plane direction of a disk tray when the disk tray is received in a chassis case, thereby maintaining mechanical clearance, consequently static stability of the disk tray can be improved. CONSTITUTION: A chassis case(10) is comprised. A disk tray(1) supports a disk-type recording medium, and moves between a load position within the chassis case(10) and an unload position out of the chassis case(10). A pressurizing unit is installed between the chassis case(10) and the disk tray(1), and generates a pressurizing force for pressurizing the disk tray(1) in a direction vertical to the recording medium by reaction of the chassis case(10). When the disk tray(1) is located in the load position, the pressurizing unit pressurizes the disk tray(1) in the direction vertical to the recording medium.
