PURPOSE: A temperature measuring device for diagnosing combustion deviation between cylinders of a diesel engine and a combustion deviation diagnosing method are provided to obtain data for combustion temperature with holding independence of each cylinder and to secure the combustion temperature data proximate to the combustion characteristic of each cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A temperature measuring device(10) for diagnosing combustion deviation between cylinders of a diesel engine is inserted and fixed to a cylinder head(20) to expose the front end to combustion chambers(50) of each cylinder of the diesel engine and composed of a thermocouple for measuring the temperature of the combustion chamber installed therein. A combustion deviation diagnosing method is composed of steps for measuring the combustion temperature for each cylinder by using the temperature measuring device; synchronizing the measured combustion temperature of the cylinders with same crank angle; and checking the combustion deviation between cylinders by comparing the combustion temperatures of the cylinders at the same crank angle.
