COOLING SYSTEM FOR FREIGHT COMPARTMENT OF CONTAINER SHIP HAVING COOLING CONTAINER WITH IMPROVED TRANSPORTATION CAPACITY

PURPOSE: A cooling system for a freight compartment of a container ship is provided to increase the transportation capacity of a cooling container and to improve a total condition control for the freight compartment. CONSTITUTION: A cooling system(1) for a freight compartment of a container ship has a cooling mechanism. The cooling mechanism is received in a separate space and operated by a cooling compressor(2). Cooling air is supplied into the freight compartment of the container ship by the cooling mechanism to keep the proper temperature around a condenser(11) of the cooling container. The cooling system is received in a container. The cooling system has an automation and control unit. The condition and temperature of the freight compartment are controlled by a bridge and steam pipe control room. The cooling system comprises a fan(3) for sending the cooling air into the condenser of the cooling container along a duct system(4) and a cooling radiator(5) for passing the coolant cooled by the cooling compressor and circulated by a coolant pump(6).
