PURPOSE: A display device is provided to divide gate lines into sections while the gate lines reach an output portion of a vertical driver circuit, and to connect the divided gate lines with metal wires, thereby removing influence of static electricity caused during a fabrication process of the display device. CONSTITUTION: While gate lines(20) reach an output portion of a vertical driver circuit, the gate lines(20) are divided into sections. The divided gate lines are connected together with metal wires(25) of an upper layer. The gate lines(20) are composed of molybdenum(Mo) or chrome(Cr), while the metal wires(25) consist of aluminum. Since the gate lines(20) are divided, charges accumulated in the gate lines(20) during a fabrication process of an LCD device are not discharged to a gate wire(13) of a TFT1.
