MESSAGE READING CERTIFICATION METHOD FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for confirming whether to open a message in a mobile communication service is provided to set a message opening inform function when a receiver opens a message, and to transmit a message opening inform message to a sender, thereby easily confirming whether the message is received by the receiver. CONSTITUTION: An originating mobile communication terminal decides whether a sender requests a message opening inform message(S201,S202). If so, the originating mobile communication terminal transmits confirm message request information to a base station with a written message, and the base station transmits the message to a receiving mobile communication terminal(S203). The receiving mobile communication terminal displays the message opening inform message while opening the message, and decides whether a receiver sets a message opening transmission function(S204,S205). If so, the receiving mobile communication terminal transmits a message opening confirm message to the base station(S206). The base station enables the sender to confirm that the receiver opens the message, and a billing server requests a payment(S207).
