PURPOSE: An electrooptic panel and a fabrication method thereof are provided to form a portion of or entire identification patterns showing identification information for identifying each scanning line in a dummy pixel area, thereby reducing a frame size. CONSTITUTION: TFTs(50) are comprised by corresponding to a crossing of data lines(3) and scanning lines(2). A dummy pixel area A1 does not contribute to an image display while an available pixel area A2 contributes to the image display. Identification patterns(8) express a sequence of the scanning lines(2). By forming the identification patterns(8) in the dummy pixel area A1, the data lines(3) can be adjacent to a scanning line driving circuit(100), reducing a frame size.
