PURPOSE: A structure for reducing the noise of an outdoor device of an air conditioner is provided to reduce refrigerant-flowing noise generated in a refrigerant pipe bent and installed between a compressor and an indoor device in operating the compressor by mounting a sound insulating member attached/detached to/from the refrigerant pipe. CONSTITUTION: A structure for reducing the noise of an outdoor device of an air conditioner is composed of a case(52) embedding an outdoor heat exchanger; a compressor(54) installed to the side of the outdoor heat exchanger and connected with an indoor device to compress refrigerants passing through the indoor device and flow the refrigerants to the outdoor heat exchanger; and a sound insulating cap(62) inserted into the bent part of the refrigerant pipe positioned in the case to reduce the flowing noise of the refrigerant pipe. The sound insulating cap comprises a cover of which the lower side is opened and a sound absorbing material disposed to the inside of the cover. The cover is made from rubber or metal materials to cut off the transmission of noise. The sound absorbing material is made from porous materials.
