PURPOSE: Provided is a method for simultaneously detecting ethylenethiourea, maleic hydrazide and isopropyl methylphosphonate in the target water quality test sample, which involves excellent sensitivity, enhanced representation, precision, reduced analysis time, low cost, and simplicity. CONSTITUTION: A method for simultaneously detecting ethylenethiourea, maleic hydrazide and isopropyl methylphosphonate in the test sample comprises the steps of: condensing edible water or a water quality sample; derivatizing three kinds of noxious substances of ethylenethiourea, maleic hydrazide and isopropyl methylphosphonate using methyl iodide and acetone; and determining the concentration of the three kinds of substances.
