PURPOSE: A new variety of plant Cymbidium ENZAN STREAM Orpheus having improved properties is provided, thereby the ENZAN STREAM Orpheus can be cheaply mass-produced by a clone culture technique. CONSTITUTION: The new variety of plant Cymbidium ENZAN STREAM Orpheus having improved properties is prepared by cross-breeding Lucky rainbow "saint lapine" with Alexanderi "Fine"; germinating the cross-breeding plant; extracting the apicalmeristem to produce a protocorm-like body(PLB); differentiating the protocorm-like body(PLB) to produce shoots; transferring the shoots into a flask; and asexual reproducing the shoots by subculturing them above three generations, wherein the Cymbidium ENZAN STREAM Orpheus has the properties of the leaf length of 60 cm, the leaf number of 11, the leaf width of 2.4 cm, the leaf color of dark green, the flower number of 11, the flower stalk length of 60 cm, the flower color of dark pink, the flower hat color of pink in white boarders, the flowering time of January, the use for differentiation, and the disease tolerance of A level.
