PURPOSE: A beam hardening post-processing method and an X-ray apparatus are provided to achieve improved accuracy of channel-by-channel correction, and reduce a time taken for a calibration work. CONSTITUTION: A beam hardening post-processing method comprises a step of obtaining a sinogram by acquiring first projection information of a phantom disposed at the position offset from an imaging center of an imaging region by imaging the phantom from a plurality of views in multiple directions; a step of creating second projection information by performing a beam hardening effect correction on the first projection information; a step of creating third projection information by performing a first function fitting operation on the second projection information; a step of performing a second function fitting operation on the third projection information value by using the second projection information value in all views as independent variables for each of channels constituting the second projection information; and a step of correcting projection information of a subject disposed in the imaging region by using a corrective function determined by the second function fitting operation.
