DEVICE FOR REMOVING DROPPING COKE IN WATERWAY OF FIRE-EXTINGUISHING TOWER

PURPOSE: A dropped coke removing device of quenching tower waterway is provided to automatically discharge foreign materials filtered on the waterway periodically to easily remove the foreign materials, automatically treat the foreign materials to remove danger of safety accident and protect settling pond to extend life cycle thereof. CONSTITUTION: The dropped coke removing device of quenching tower waterway comprises a pair of guide rails(10) fixed onto both inner wall surfaces of waterway for draining quenching water; a waterway gate(20) which is equipped with a screen(28) installed on a long side surface opened as the waterway gate is being lifted and lowered along the guide rails, and one side surface of which is formed of a folding type plate(22), wherein a hinge is connected to a lower part of the folding type plate so that the folding type plate is opened and closed; an operating cylinder(30) fixed to the bottom surface of the waterway and connected to a connection rod(32) so that the waterway gate is lifted and lowered by the connection rod; and a horizontal cylinder(40) comprising a pusher(42) of which the other side surface pushes foreign materials from an opened side of the waterway gate to a side of the folding type plate.
