INTELLIGENT DIGIAL EXHIBITION SYSTEM USING UBIQUITOUS COMPUTING

PURPOSE: An intelligent digital exhibition system using the ubiquitous computing is provided to offer various information needed for each visitor of a pavilion or a shopping mall by representing the information of a proper level in a desired language as considering an age, a profession, and the language of the visitor. CONSTITUTION: A database(16) stores the multimedia information and the detail information for an exhibition, and the user information including a user ID and an address of a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)(12). An IC card(11) stores the user ID. An IC card reader(14) grasps an ID and a position of a user by equipping with a sensor recognizing an ID card. An exhibition terminal(13) displays the multimedia data of the exhibition by installing to each booth. A distributed processing server(15) receives the ID and the position of the user from the IC card reader, and transmits the detail information to the address by searching the detail information and the portable terminal address of the boot corresponding to the user position.
