摘要

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method and a glass panel are provided to reduce differences of thermal contraction between a front plate glass and a rear plate glass during sealing of front and rear plate glasses, and allow for ease of manufacture of glass panel. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method comprises a first step of arranging front plate glasses(111) and rear plate glasses(112) in such a manner that hollow portions are formed between the front and rear plate glasses; a second step of sealing the edges of the front and rear plate glasses; a third step of forming sealing portions for sealing the through holes of the rear plate glasses; and a fourth step of cutting the front plate glasses and the rear plate glasses from a float glass(200) produced by a float method. In the first step, the front plate glasses and the rear plate glasses are arranged in such a manner that the float conveying directions of the front and rear plate glasses correspond with each other in the float method.
