PURPOSE: Provided is a method for treating leachate as a gas phase by converting leachate to vapor by using waste heat generated from a solid waste incinerator or a landfill gas combustor. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the steps of collecting leachate of a landfill into a tank(70), transferring the leachate to a boiling tank(80), gasifying the leachate in the boiling tank(80) to generate vapor by heating the boiling tank(80) using waste heat generated from a solid waste incinerator(20) or a landfill gas combustor, returning the vapor comprising moisture and volatile organic compounds (VOC) to the incinerator(20) through a vapor return pipe(100) and burning the vapor in the incinerator(20).
