PURPOSE: A crime prevention device using a mobile communication terminal and an SMS message transmission method are provided to analyze information transmitted from an SMS transceiving controller, and to transmit an SMS message to mobile communication terminals in various situations, thereby transmitting the SMS message to the terminals or corresponding institutes according to each of disaster information. CONSTITUTION: A crime prevention system senses disaster information(S1). An SMS transceiving controller converts the disaster information into an SMS message that adds emergency information, and transmits the SMS message(S2). An SMSC(SMS center) analyzes the SMS message. If the emergency information is included in the SMS message, the SMSC transmits the SMS message to a central institute(S3). The central institute analyzes the emergency information included in the SMS message, and transmits the SMS message to a corresponding institute or a mobile communication terminal of a user(S4).
