PURPOSE: A method for cutting bar using pendulum shear is provided to solve problems of defects of sectional part, upwardness of sectional part, downwardness of sectional part and bending of sectional part and produce superior products by synchronizing moving speed of bar moved and speed of the pendulum shear when cutting the bar. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a bar speed detection step of detecting moving speed of bar(14) being moved; first control step of controlling cylinder(22) so that position (Sp) of the pendulum shear=S0-(0.75xVbxt¬2) (S0: initial position of simple pendulum) in the section of 0=tT second using the detected moving speed of the bar; second control step of controlling the cylinder so that position (Sp) of the pendulum shear=S0+Vbx(0.75-1.5xt+0.75x(t-1))¬2 in the section of T=t2T second; third control step of controlling the cylinder so that position (Sp) of the pendulum shear=S0+Vbx(-1.5+0.5x(t-2)¬2) in the section of 2T=t3T second; fourth control step of controlling the cylinder so that position (Sp) of the pendulum shear=S0+Vbx(t-4) in the section of 3T=t5T second; fifth control step of controlling the cylinder so that position (Sp) of the pendulum shear=S0+Vbx((t-4)-0.5x(t-5)¬2) in the section of 5T=t6T second; sixth control step of controlling the cylinder so that position (Sp) of the pendulum shear=S0-Vbx(-1.5+0.5x(t-6)¬2) in the section of 6T=t7T second; and seventh control step of controlling the cylinder so that position (Sp) of the pendulum shear=S0-Vbx(t-8) in the section of 7T=t8T second, wherein the cylinder is controlled in the fourth step so that speed of the pendulum shear(23) is synchronized to the moving speed of the bar being moved.
