Photodegradable compounds as a plasticizer of polyvinylchloride and polyvinylchloride blend containing the same

PURPOSE: A compound for a photodegradable PVC plasticizer is provided to improve its homogeneous dispersion into PVC and prevent coagulation of photocatalyst particles, thereby promoting the photodecomposition of waste PVC products more uniformly. When a PVC compound is a branched polymer, the plasticizer using the compound does not leak out, thereby helping to prevent disturbances in human endocrine system and ecological system. CONSTITUTION: The compound for a photodegradable PVC plasticizer comprises a complex compound of a PVC plastic compound which contains at least one selected from an ester group, a hydroxyl group and a carboxyl group, in its backbone chain or the end of the chain, and TiO2 nano particles attached to the PVC plastic compound. The PVC blend comprises 5-80wt% of the compound for a photodegradable PVC plasticizer and 95-20wt% of PVC.
