PURPOSE: A system for interworking between a BSC(Base Station Controller) in a CDMA-2000 system and a WLAN(Wireless LAN) is provided to offer necessary services to users seamlessly even in respectively different system areas by linking a WLAN system with a BSC in a CDMA system. CONSTITUTION: A system for interworking between a BSC in a CDMA-2000 system and a WLAN is comprised of an IBS(Infrastructure Basic Service) controller(110), a router(120), APs(Access Points)(130), and a usual CDMA mobile communication system(200) containing a BS(Base Station)(210), a BSC(220), a BSM(Base Station Manager)(230), an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(240), etc. The IBS controller(110) controls the APs(130) in the WLAN. The router(120) determines and transfers packet paths between many APs. The APs(130) control traffic flow and access for clients(140-144) in wireless sections.
