PURPOSE: A method for configuring/reconfiguring/recognizing a spatial information input device, and a device thereof are provided to automatically configure the spatial information input device to increase the use convenience of a user, and automatically recognize the adoption and an adoption position of the spatial information input device. CONSTITUTION: An application function part(170) receives the resetting information for reconfiguration of the spatial information input device from the user through a user interface. A device driver(160) of the spatial information input device is reconfigured by the resetting information received from the application function part. The spatial information input device includes a signal obtaining part obtaining a sensor signal detecting the movement of a finger device(110), a port change recognizer judging that the edges over a predetermined number is detected from the sensor signal, and a finger device recognizer recognizing the adoption of the finger device by using a judgment result.
