PURPOSE: An optical transmission system for optimizing a bias of a laser diode in SCM(Subcarrier Multiplexing) analog optical transmission is provided to optimize linearity of a laser diode by accurately controlling a bias of a laser diode. CONSTITUTION: An optical transmitter(100) converts a baseband electric signal into an optical signal by using a laser diode and outputs an optical fiber. An optical receiver(120) converts the optical signal transmitted from the optical transmitter(100) into a baseband electric signal. A reproducer(140) detects an error of the optical signal generated according to a bias of the laser diode based on the converted electric signal. A bias controller(160) optimally controls the bias of the laser diode based on the error value detected from the reproducer(140).
