METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EDUCATING ENGLISH BY USING ELECTRONIC MAT

PURPOSE: An English education method and system is provided to educate a basic structure of a sentence and to complete a sentence while a trainee steps on an electronic mat so that it enables the trainee to understand a sentence generation principle sequentially and visually. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an electronic mat(200), a controller(110), an LCD(101), a learning selection switch(102), and a voice output module(103). The electronic mat(200) arranges plural blocks corresponding to sentence kinds, sentence components, and speech parts, and senses electrical signals in a case that the blocks are selected. The controller(110) receives sensed signals from the electronic mat(200), checks the positions of the selected blocks, and determines whether the blocks positions correctly correspond to the sentence kinds, the sentence components, and the positions of the speech parts. The LCD(101) displays a wrong or a correct answer according to the signals from the controller(110). The learning selection switch(102) enables a trainee to select an English learning mode. The voice output module(103) outputs voices for guiding functions of the learning selection switch(102) and each English sentence.
