EFFECTIVE POLLED FRAME EXCHANGE ON SHARED COMMUNICATION CHANNEL, PARTICULARLY RELATED TO HANDLING TRANSMISSION BETWEEN REMOTE COMMUNICATION STATIONS

PURPOSE: An effective polled frame exchange on a shared communication channel is provided to allow remote stations for exchanging data to prepare sufficient transmission frames in advance in order to overcome time restriction. CONSTITUTION: A point adjuster(201) adjusts communication by polling stations(202-1-202-L) in order to determine whether to transmit frames. The station(202-1) receives a data payload from a host computer and transmits frames including data received from the host computer through a shared communication channel(204). A station receives frames from the shared communication channel(204) and transmits a data payload including data from the frames to the host computer. The host computer generates a data payload and transmits it to the station. The host computer receives a data payload from the station, and processes and uses the data included in the data payload.
