FABRICATION METHOD OF AN OPTICAL MULTI-LAYERED BODY, AN OVAL POLARIZER CONSISTING OF THE SAME, AN CIRCULAR POLARIZER, AND A LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH ESTABLISHING AN INDUSTRIAL FABRICATION METHOD FOR LAMINATING LIQUID CRYSTAL MATERIAL LAYERS WHICH DO NOT HAVE SUPPORTIVE SUBSTRATE FILMS ON A HIGH POLYMER ELONGATION FILM
PURPOSE: A fabrication method of an optical multi-layered body, an oval polarizer consisting of the same, a circular polarizer, and an LCD device are provided to establish an industrial fabrication method for laminating liquid crystal material layers which do not have supportive substrate films on a high polymer elongation film, and to realize high functionality of optical features, thereby obtaining a new optical multi-layered body. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal material layer where a liquid crystal orientation is fixed on an orientation substrate is adhered to a re-exfoliative substrate via an adhesive layer, and the orientation substrate is exfoliated to transfer the liquid crystal material layer to the re-exfoliative substrate. A multi-layered body(A) consisting of the re-exfoliative substrate, the adhesive layer, and the liquid crystal material layer is obtained through the first process. The multi-layered body(A) and a high polymer elongation film are unified via an adhesive and an adhesive layer, and a multi-layered body consisting of the re-exfoliative substrate, the adhesive layer, the liquid crystal material layer, the adhesive layer(adhesive), and the high polymer elongation film is obtained through the second process. By exfoliating the re-exfoliative substrate of the multi-layered body, a polarizer is unified with the adhesive layer or the high polymer elongation film.
