PURPOSE: A parking support system is provided to previously check the possibility of parking in a space and to make parking without repeated operation possible even if parking in another space is impossible. CONSTITUTION: A parking support system comprises an image capture unit for capturing the image of the rear part of a vehicle, a monitor placed near a driver's seat and for displaying the image captured by the image capture unit, a yaw angle detecting unit for detecting the yaw angle of the vehicle, a guide unit for outputting information about the driving motion to a driver, and a controller for detecting the present position of the vehicle by comparing the detected yaw angle to a reference yaw angle, providing information through the guide unit and displaying at least one predicted route(14) and parking position.
