PURPOSE: A user programmable voice dialing function for a mobile handset is provided to load individual dialing elements on a buffer by responding to a voice recognition module for substantially matching the first samples, and to make a call by responding to a voice recognition module for substantially matching the second sample, thereby supplying a hands-free voice dialing function of PNs(Phone Numbers) which are not prestored in an MS. CONSTITUTION: The first plural audio samples are received and stored. Each one of the first samples corresponds to one of individual dialing elements. The individual dialing elements include numbers 0 to 9. The second plural audio samples are received and stored. Each one of the second samples corresponds to one of executable commands, and the commands include the first command defined to make a call with a PN loaded on a buffer(22). Plural audio inputs are received and compared with the stored samples. The individual dialing elements are loaded on the buffer(22) by responding that audio inputs substantially matched with the first samples are received. The dialing elements loaded on the buffer(22) define PNs. A call is made by responding that audio inputs substantially matched with the second sample corresponding to the first command are received.
