PURPOSE: Provided is a device for removing and deactivating microorganisms in ballast water capable of satisfying safety standard regarding replenishment and discharge of a tank, reducing installation cost and being simply installed to a ship. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a first supply pump(10) for transferring ballast water, a device for gravity sedimentation of coarse particles and large-sized organic bodies(16.1,16.2,16.3,16.4,16.5,16.6) connected to the first supply pump and a filtering device(50) able to back-wash and a device for deactivating microorganisms (C) connected to the downstream side.
