INVARIABLE IMAGE WATERMARK USING ZERNIKE MOMENTS

PURPOSE: An invariable image watermark using Zernike moments is provided to obtain RST(Rotation, Scale and Translation)-invariant property and reduce an execution error. CONSTITUTION: A watermark signal is generated using Zernike moments. The generated watermark signal is added to a cover image in a spatial area after a restoration process. A feature vector is extracted from a corrected image and the extracted feature vector is used as a watermark. The watermark is detected by comparing calculated Zernike moments of a test image with a given watermark vector. Rotation-invariant is acquired by obtaining an absolute value of the Zernike moments. An image normalizing method is used for scale and translation invariant.
