PURPOSE: A cylindrical roller bearing is provided to prevent heat and erosion from being generated between cylindrical rollers and flanges by improving a structure of the cylindrical roller bearing. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical roller bearing includes an inner wheel(1), an outer wheel, a plurality of cylindrical rollers, flanges and a recess groove. The inner wheel(1) is provided at an outer peripheral surface thereof with a race way. The outer wheel is provided at an inner peripheral surface thereof with a race way. The cylindrical rollers are aligned between the race way of the inner wheel(1) and the race way of the outer wheel. The flanges are aligned on both ends of at least one of the inner wheel(1) and outer wheel. The recess groove is formed at a corner between the flanges and the race ways.
