PURPOSE: A valve actuator having a self-diagnosing function and an intelligent actuator are provided to prevent the actuator from breaking down and to reduce the number of periodical check-outs by replacing only broken parts. CONSTITUTION: A valve actuator having a self-diagnosing function is composed of a setter for setting a pre-decided predetermined set value of a condition data; various sensors(28,32,33,34,36,37) for detecting each measuring value of the condition data; a first control circuit(6) for comparing and deciding the measuring value with the set value and processing a part replacing and repairing or alarm operation by responding to information that the measuring value is over the set value; a first displaying unit(17) for displaying the measuring value by the sensor and a process started from the first control circuit; a first control substrate(30) having a communication unit coupled to the setter, the first control circuit, the first displaying unit, and the first control circuit; and a first controller(40) for displaying the measuring value through the communication unit and operating a driving unit through the first control circuit with corresponding to the information.
