PURPOSE: A frequency phase synchronizer and a synchronizing method thereof are provided to reduce a frequency phase synchronization period by storing a control voltage of a voltage-variable signal generator as a digital value in a memory. CONSTITUTION: An A/D converter(70) is used for converting control voltages of a local oscillator to digital signals according to a control signal. A memory(80) is used for storing the digital signals in frequency bands and outputting a digital signal for synchronizing of a predetermined frequency phase according to the control signal. A D/A converter(90) is used for converting the digital signal of the memory to analog signals according to the control signal and applying the analog signals as the control voltages to the local oscillator. A CPU(100) is used for controlling the memory in order to output the control voltage of the desired frequency band and controlling enabling operations of the A/D converter and the D/A converter.
