PURPOSE: A back hoe unit detachably mounted to a tractor is provided to simplify the structure for a swing cylinder, to reduce a space, and to shorten the longitudinal length of a base unit by moving a boom bracket of the back hoe unit by a single swing cylinder. CONSTITUTION: In a back hoe unit(B) detachably mounted to a back hoe attaching frame(2) mounted at a tractor body in a rear region of a driver's seat, a base unit(B1) is installed with hanging connection units(B14,B15) for hang-fitting and connecting with the back hoe attaching frame. A step for an operator and an operating post(B4) are mounted on the base unit. A movable vertical shaft is supported to the base unit. A boom bracket(B3) is supported at the periphery of the movable vertical shaft to swing. A boom assembly is attached to the boom bracket. One end of a swing cylinder(B5) is connected to the base unit through a first cylinder link unit and the other end is connected to the boom bracket through a second cylinder link unit to swing horizontally the boom bracket. A plane unit of the step is bent for a rear opening portion. The trapezoid operating post having both lateral sides widened toward the rear side is disposed at the rear opening portion. A walk through space(H) is extended from a rear side of the driver's seat to the rear side of left and right inclined sides to lift the step from the left and right sides of the base unit.
